Deleting a File

Hey, im using this code

unlink("test.txt");

to delete test.txt but every time i try it, it says this

Warning: Unlink failed (Permission denied) in /usr/home/dstudent/public_html/admin/delete.php on line 2

Anyone know how to fix this?, ive tried chmoding test.txt to a few diffrent things but i still get the same reply.

Oh nevermind i fixed it by chmoding the directory 🙂
