Reprogram phpPolls

first i say sorry, if me english is not perfekt, i am from austria

now to my question:

i want to reprogram the script phppolls http://www.phpwizard.net/projects/phpPolls/

so it should work after my intvervention:

after voting the result should be there, where the vote was, if you have already voted it should be a note under the result

how can i realize this? what i have to change in the script?
perhabs someone has made this before?
