Writing content of received mail to file

Hi,

I've got a question that has to do with receiving e-mails. When I receive an e-mail I'd like the content of this mail to be written to a .dat file automatically. What is needed for this and how would I do such a thing?

Well, a general idea would be to use php's imap/pop3 functions (http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.imap.php) and a cronjob. Then you could just fopen();
