Is there a PHP command to redirect the browser to specific URL? I don't mean to include() another file but to actually goto another page?

For example, I have a form that allows users to update their address and phone # which is stored in a database. After they make their changes and hit "submit" I would like script to update the record in the db and then goto the main login window (with all of their new updated info in place).

header() seems like a handy function but it cannot redirect at the end of a PHP script. It must be called before any output is sent. I need my form handling script to execute a bunch of code and run the header() at the end when the script has finished. Is this possible?

Perhaps you understood what was said. Perhaps not. For clarification . . . .

header() can be used any where in your script as long as no output has been sent to the browser. So, you could run your db query then call header(). Just be sure that nothing is sent to the browser before that. That means the VERY FIRST characters in your PHP file are <? or <?php . No spaces, no carriage returns.
