phpChat and my suicide

Hi at all,
I am trying to install phpchat with php4....but I have this "bastard" error:

[phpChat] Attempting to connect to localhost on port 6667...

Where is the problem?????

are you running an irc server? is it on that port? it should be... 🙂

I have phpIRC and the server is irc.tin.it port 6667.....I have tryed with other servers with the same error.

This is my config:
$chat_irc_server = "irc.tin.it"; // IRC server to use
$chat_irc_port = 6667;

phpirc.inc:

$irc_host = "irc.tin.it";

phpirc:
$irc_connected = 0;
$irc_server = "irc.tin.it";
$irc_port = 6667;
