splitting up an array

Probably easy for you guys, but this has had me stuck for a while now!
I have a form that is creating an array for me, what I now want to do within the same PHP code, is split that array up and refer to it using a different variable. ($iselected_dom)
Can anyone help?
The array being created is 'domain_to_buy[]'

i'm not sure if this is the best way, but this should work.

<?
$count=count($domain_to_buy);
$i=0;

while($i < $count) {
$iselected_dom[$i]="$domain_to_buy[$i]";
++$i;
}
?>

foreach ($domain_to_buy as $iselected_dom) {
// do things
}

The array is created from the user selecting check boxes in a previous form and I only want the selected boxes to be displayed in the next form. I used the 'foreach' method coz that seemed better to me and it works, except it displays the whole array.
