Case specific comparison

Hey everyone,

Stupid Question this time with an easy answer I hope...

How the h*ck do I make case specific comparisons?

$x = "Q";

if ($x == "QA") {echo "This Var is QA";}

Now obviously $x also qualifies... But I don't want it to... Hints?

I think you mistyped something.
there's only lower-case $x.

generally, in variable names, the case is important:

$x is not $X

case is ignored in function names.

No - It was something else... The above is "obviously" not true as I thought... It was because I was doing an if statement like this

if ($x == "QA" or "EA") {}

and not like this

if ($x == "QA" or $x == "EA") {}
