Ive made a simple PHP Form that takes a user name, e-mail adress, username and password.

The script then takes the information and makes a series of files onto the server.

Ive made the log in script I just having trouble setting cookies, can anyone help me with a simple script that makes a cookie on the computer then reads from it

uh, instead of making files you might want to look into a database solution. also, have you looked at using sessions instead of cookies? if you need help with your code, you have to post the code that you are having problems with, or no one is going to know what to help you with.

Iam using files as its for a customer who does not have access to a databse. I myself can handle databases easily but Iam interested in sessions, what are they exactly and does anyone have any example code?
