Session problems please help!!!!!

Hi can someone help me with this?

when i try to use sessions I keep getting the error message below.

I have changed the php.ini file save_session_path = C:\data

But I still keep getting the error

in using win2000, apache and php4

if you know why please help this is very important.

Try checking your php.ini file for the location of the session files. This directory MUST exist and have the right permissions.

Just a supposition:
may be you have modified not the proper php.ini file...

try a
<?php
phpinfo();
?>

to get more info about PHP settings.

BTW: on my linux box in php.ini' I don't havesave_session_path'
could be `session.save_path'

think I have solved it now, i had 2 php.ini files which i think were interfering with each other.

one in the windows directory

and one in a C:\php4win directory

once i deleted the one in the C:\ it seemed to work
