first field editable in a combo box

Hi !!!

My name is RAJ,I am working on ASP in Texas.

I need an editable combo box, which means the first field of the combo box should be editable.

the first field should act like a text box,at the same time when the user selects the item from the list of the combo box, it should act like a list box.

my requirement is exactly like a ediatble fontsize in a MS-Word Document.

In that MS-Word, we can type our required font or we can select from the listed fontsizes.

please help me regarding this ediatble combo box(java script code or dhtml code or html code what ever it will be.).

Now I am requesting you that, please provide me that code, so that I can use it in my application.

I don't think you will be able to do this, since it is a limitation of the widgets defined by the html standards. Maybe the newer stuff overcomes this kind of limitations, but I seriously doubt it. What you have to do is to use 2 different inputs, one text field where the user can just type whatever he wants, and the combo box itself, with the predefined values.
