Add Subscribers to Database Using Form

Hello,

First of all, I'm not sure this can be done as I'm a PHP novice.

Here's my problem:

I run contests on my site and visitors fill out a form (FormMail CGI). I have a Yes/No selection to subscribe to my newsletter.

Right now, the way I have it set up, I have to manually go through all of these entries to see who wants to subscribe.

I do have a PHP signup box elsewhere on my site where the user enters their Email address and then click "Go."

Is there a way to incorporate this into the CGI form without the user having to click "Go" and then come back and fill out the rest of their entry form? Or is there another alternative altogether?

hi,
based on the selection of Y or N for the news-letters, u cud append the said entries(userid or email address or names) to a text file...the contents of which are ppl who wish to have the newsletters...
