This might be asking to much!
I have browsed the internet for months looking for a solution to my problem.
But with no solution to the problem.
Having said that - this is my end objective and I don't know where to start:
I have thought myself in a humble way HTML with a bit of scripting mixed in between to create DHMTL.
I started developing a Realtor website www.intelinetproperties.com in which I use simple tables to upload pictures of the properties for sale by using the insert function on Front Page and adding a description of the property for sale.
I need to create an application whereby estate agents can upload their own photos with a short description on the property for sale onto a database.
They should also be able to state the price of the property, suburb, agent, ref number to name essential parameters.
Added to this I would like to have visitors to be able to search the properties listed by area and price range.
In short I need to create a Realtor package for the above mentioned website.
I know that there are packages already developed for this purpose but I would like to be able to control the final look and workings of such a database.
Being in South Africa our currency value is week and can therefore not pay anyone development fees!
Like I said this is most probably asking to much and this might not be the right forum to be asking for help.
I thought it might be worth a try.
I would also like to know how one integrate a template - table database to a web page to flow into the appearance of existing pages without altering the appearance of the web site.
I suppose one could dedicated a whole website on the queries I have made.
I thought of approaching you as your approach to Database Enabled Websites seemed to be the only viable option.
I attach a sample of one of the listing pages I use on the website.
If all of this is asking to much please let me know - or if you don't mind put me on the first stepping stone!
Thank you for spending time on this matter.
