Outlook Express cannot read the headers of emails I send out using mail(). (Running on Linux using qmail)...
Rather than displaying the from address, subject correctly, it displays "Nobody" in the from field and includes most of the headers in the body of the email.
I originally thought that the problem was because the headers sent from mail are in a different order that those of a normal email, but someone from the YAPF forum (http://www.hvt-automation.nl/yapf/forum.php) suggested it was to do with the headers not being terminated with \r\n. This does not seem to be the problem.
Anyone experienced similar problems?
(I'm using phpmailer to handle the mailing (it looks after attachments and generates headers etc... ) - phpmailer.sourceforge.net)
