Subject: php -strange problem in windows

                             hi all, 

i have a problem ,actually iam using php and it is implemented on a windows system
i find that my code works fine with netscape browser
but the same does not work with internet explorer
The Warning i get is :
Undefined Index '$Comp' in so and so line etc
is it necessary that i have to initaialise each and every variable i use how do i solve thi sproblem?
generally i will usingnetscape but if the same has to work with IE what should i do to overcome this?

any help greatly appreciated

Well, that's a weird one! The browser shouldn't make any difference - PHP is executed on the server, so the browser shouldn't make a difference.

Unless of course, the code has browser-specific parts, depending on something like $HTTP_USER_AGENT or suchlike. Is there anything like that in your code?
