What i want to do is to get PHP to open a URL on a different server e.g.
http://www.someoneelseserver.com/index.php
and then echo it on my page.
So effectively a Grabbing script.
I want to use is as an update feature in a script that i am building. So the user click Update and it fopen(\'http://www.myserver.com/update.php?userver=1.00\');
And it displays the results on the page in there server, not on ours.
So far i have this code:

$filename = \"http://www.myserver.net/update.php?userver=\".$nver;
$fp = fopen($filename, \"r\");
echo $fp;

But i get this error:

Warning: fopen(\"http://www.myserver.net/update.php?userver=1.00\",\"r\") - No error in /htdocs/open.php on line 3

Please someone HELP!

Hi there!
This is not as simple I guess. We have done this a lot. Actually I cannot give you the exact code here because do not know the page you are fetching, plus it will be quite a long code, but can tell you the sequence. You will have to read the page of other web site by fsockopen() and the store all the page in a variable and print it on your site. In that variable, change/replace the form action to full path on their server so that when a user submits, it can be submitted correctly.
