i have foo.php which needs to reload
itself every $number of seconds. this
works perfectly well using the meta
refresh tag for every browser except
for lynx.
$number is usually about 60 seconds.
i have tried using the meta no-cache
tag. i realize that a lower $number,
like 1, works fine with lynx. but that
would be a terrible waste of bandwidth.
the php program is for a server, so
i can't rely on someone being present
to manually refresh the page everytime.
and, i can't expect a server to use
a graphical browser.
can you think of a solution to this
problem?
