getDate

hey,
Im using the getDate function to get todays date. but I also need to get the date for yesterday , the daye before and ...thirthy days before today.
is there a function or any way I can do this??

The mySQL manual has several pages of discussion on the date functions ADDDATE(), DATE_ADD(), SUBDATE(), DATE_SUB(), etc. Too much to post here.
