How to forward a control?

I have some codding in a page...
e.g...some insertion,selection...
After insertion and selection i want to
forward a control permanently to another page...How can i do that...
e.g: I want to forward control to following page...

forum.php?catagoryid=$catid&pageid=$pid

I know i can transfer control to another page by writting
include() or require() function...but with the above URL i cannot transfer control from these functions...
