URL Generation- Help Please!

Hi Everyone,

First of all, I am not a programmer and know
realtively nothing about php.

Here's what I'm trying to do:

I am using Java Script to create an online interviewing system. A form is filled out with the job info and a few customized questions. The results are then passed to
a confirmation page.

What I want to do is automatically create a unique URL in addition to showing the results on the confirmation page. The unique URL would have the same info as the confirmation page, but the unique URL would be used as a response page when advertising the open position.

Makes sense I hope! For clarification, the input page can be viewed at:
http://www.recruitinguniversity.com/setup.html

And the confirmation page is at:
/interview.html

This is only a rough working model. If anyone knows how I would create this URL please let me know.

Took a look at what you have - and I'm unsure as to what you want to do.

You want to "create a unique url" of some kind with the post variables. With PHP this is REAL EASY!

1) Forget all that javascript.

2) Use <form method=get>.

3) On the receiving page, the "unique url" you want will be in

$HTTP_SERVER_VARS[REQUEST_URI].

For a sample, try this;

<FORM METHOD=GET>
<INPUT TYPE=HIDDEN NAME=FOO VALUE="zug">
<INPUT TYPE=SUBMIT></FORM>
<?
echo $HTTP_SERVER_VARS[REQUEST_URI];

?>
