shorter address

i have a certain form with lots of variables with long pieces of text in them (like paragraphs of themem) and the only way i found out to send them through to the next page is to use the <form method="GET"> and i named each textbox differently so they would be passed on through the address box and that sends alot of text in that address box. Is there a way that keeps that address box small in text? I don't think the other Method for the <form> works to send variables correctly but keeps the address box small in text...thanks for help.

use POST instead of GET.

Gad said that POST doesn't "work to send variables correctly". Can't think why, though.

GET will break eventually, though, because a URL cannot get too long.

Did you check if in your PHP.ini you accept Post vars ?

Somewhere there's a place written
variables_order = ...
ensure that it is something like
variables_order = "EGPCS", or at least that there is a P...

I don't see why post wouldn't work.... strange.
