PHP SCRIPT AS CRON DOESN'T WORK ?

Hi all,

I am running PHP as Apache module and trying
to run a PHP file as CRON job say

/dir2/dir1/lynx -dump /dir4/dir5/filename.php

But it does not work at all.

What could be the reason, can any body help me beyond the normal help .

I get error like "Terminal lacks the ability.."

If you're running it through lynx and not through a CGI version of PHP, you need to call it through apache, which means something like:

lynx http://www.yourdomain.com/yourfile.php
or
lynx http://localhost/yourfile.php
or
lynx http://your-ip-address/yourfile.php

If it's the screen formatting (terminal type) that's the error (if the above doesn't fix), try piping the output directly to a file like:

lynx http://localhost/yourfile.php > /tmp/crap.txt
