Format of Date/Time

Does anyone know how to convert a field from mySQL datetime format to the format: eg.
Monday, 7 February, 2003

I've been looking all over for it and can't find anything useful...

any help would be much appreciated..

Use strtotime to turn it into a unix time stamp, and then date to get it into any format you want..the options for date for the format you want would be "l, j F, Y"....
