form handling

i made the following script/form:

however, this just won't work..
what's wrong with it???

hi, thx for replying but the problem is already resolved...

maybe you can help me out with the following:

1.I'm using myphpnuke which uses 'blocks':
in one of these blocks i've put the newsletter form...

i would like the confirmation (of sending the subscription) to be displayed in the 'center block'.

at this moment the confirmation is displayed on a new page (with another lay-out as the rest of my website)

how do i accomplish this???

2.i also would like the values of the form to be checked: the values should both (name, e-mail) be filled out, what do i have to add to make this work?
