ignore html code

Hi to all,

i have coded a little web-forum for my personal website and i have a little problem with it. Everything was working fine until someone started posting html code into it. When he did that my whole forum went down the drain. He had put images in it which a had a width of 2000 pixels etc. Now i tried to write a function to filter the html code, so that the html is posted, but not interpreted as realy html.

Has anyone an idea how i can fix that problem ?

Hi,

if you want to remove the HTML complety, then use strip_tags(), if you just don't want the HTML to be interpreted use htmlentities().

ok i seen a site that i just been on www.rr-revolution i think and it just converted to PHP and then i wanted to learn php after that so i figured like HTML i can view it with ease by going to VIEW > SOURCE but it was BLOCKED!!!!! i tried saving it and it was blocked too!!! so i was kinda curious i tried right-clicking and i knew it was javascript so all i need is someone to send me a site that helps me block that on my site becuase i have PRECIOUS html i don't really wanted distrubited that I made so please some one help.

soopanova, just a note:
the reason you cant see the php source code from webpages is because the server processes the code and returns only the output, hence the \'server-side\' attribute
