Page keeps reloading?

Hey there,

I only started with PHP last week, and I'm having problems with it!

I've written a very basic photo album application, and it works fine for the most part. There's one particular script that when hit with the right parameters just keeps refreshing - it never finishes!

The URL to the application is:

http://saltyseal.com/albums/

If you view the Xmas Party album, the page will never finish, however all the other albums work fine (even though it's the same script).

I tried to put the script up as a phps so that you could see the source, however it does exactly the same thing!? I've therefore put up a copy of the script as a text file:

I'm using the latest build of Apache, on a Windows XP Professional machine (if that makes any difference).

Comments would be appreciated, as this is driving me insane!

I'd suspect something odd about one of the values you are fetching from the database, maybe a null or special character.

The only thing I see in the script that might cause problems is where you insert the PhotoID you are passing it as a bareword (not quoted). But I doubt that's this problem.

Is this a usual thing for PHP then? .. For it to reload when it encounters an error? Is there somewhere that I can turn this off?

If there's an error then why does it not show me? Or at least quit at that point so that I can debug accordingly? Sending a reload to the browser surely has to be the worst thing it could possibly do?

A couple of other points:

The quotes around the photoID shouldn't make any difference as they are client-side, however I've put them in anyway (as I was using the variable as a string).
If it was a special character then surely it would fail at the same point each time? It loads a varying amount (including SOMETIMES managing the whole page), but then ALWAYS reloads (no matter how far it got).

Now you can see why it's driving me mad! :o)
