double quotes problem in text field

Just when I thought I had resolved the problem with single quotes in a text field for forms, I discovered that I can't get double quotes to work. Can someone help? Here is my code:

print"<td><input type='text' name='title'";print" value=\"".stripslashes($title)."\" size='40'

maxlength='60'></td>";

Please use rawurldecode($title)
function instead of stripslashes iam sure it works!

paste this code in and see if it works

Hi Akanksha. When I used the rawurldecode function it still didn't work. See below:

<td><input type='text' name='title'";print" value=\"".rawurldecode($title)."\" size='40'

maxlength='60'></td>

Am I doing something wrong?

u cannot use that way
try this way:
u need to use $abc = rawurlencode($title) ; first
and then $xyz= rawurldecode($abc) ;
$test = stripslashes($xyz) ;

provided the $title is somethig like
" this is a test for 'blah' ,'blah' "
i,e a string with spaces and single quotes

can u tell me what exactly is the value of $title?
