Passing Parameters

In ASP I can pass a paramter through an href tag. On that page I would request.querystring the name to receive the value.

How do I do that in PHP? Here is my href tag

<A HREF='showinfo.php?City=$City'>$City</A>

How on showinfo.php do I get that value.

That is all there is to it. You don't have to reference the name of the string you are passing.

You can use
$City
$HTTP_GET_VARS["City"]
or
$_GET["City"] // PHP 4.1.1
