Filering Filename

Hi,
I have a FIle with a Path in a string:
like /home/Desktop/index.jpg
and I want to filter out index.jpg. Ie heard that there is a Function for this included in PHP.

As morhpy so galantly explained, you can get teh filename part of a path using the bsaename() function
