Yeah, also useing the urlencode() of something is a possiblity... IF the browser the user sends the data from was setup correctly to match what the server is set to look for.
I found out through some nasty trial and dissapointment from various machines and browsers here, that even though a Ÿ on one machine is sent in looking like that, to PHP it could be a %FD or a %9E or something else too!
Problem is, if I use any of those combos, some equate to other letters.
All depends on the browser setup, the charset setup on a page, and if they are from a mac or pc too.
Turned into a maassive headache.
