PHP Netscape Performance PLEASE HELP!!

Can someone please tell me how to speed up my php apps in netscape.. when i load the page in IE it loads instantly.. when i load it in netscape takes like 7 or 8 seconds.. and this is the fastest of all my applications.. what can I do to speed this up???? anyone ..

people at my work all use netscape and they dont want to switch to IE.. so i desperatly need to get these going faster.. ive used the flush() commands everywhere and it still the same..

any help will be greatly appreciated..

What OS and browser versions are you talking about?
What kind of data do the pages contain?

The webserver is Apache/Unix running PHP 4.x

My system is Win2K pro running netscape 4.75 and ie 6.0

the data comes from mysql database on the webserver.. the application in question is sort of like a message board where tips and ideas can be posted and viewed by others..

the main page for this board takes 20+ seconds to load..

tell that people to forget netscape and use ie 6 or opera 6.. if they dont hear you (they never hear us), tell them to get mozilla or netscape 6, if still not so they need to install netscape 4.79..

that probaly dont resolve your prior problem...

i would like to see the html source generated by your php, if it isn't possible, take a look for the tables: how many tables (html) are you using? one inside another.. i mean nested tables, do you know?

i had this type of problem nesting tables, netscape gets more and more slow if you nest more than 4 html tables. if you are programming for that crazy netscape people, try to remove nested tables, or reduce the levels to 4 (at maximum)
