cookies, mySQL, and php

Hello,

I'm wanting to write some php that will ask my website visitors whether or not they are members of my organization. I want the answer to be written to a cookie. From then on, I want my page to serve out one set of mySQL database information for members, and another set for non-members.

Any ideas on how I might start going about doing this? I'd appreciate your input!

I have a working version of what you are looking for using the built in scession functions. I find this more reliable than cookies. I can mail you the scripts if you wish.
