browser opens in new window insted paren

hi ppl!

i have something strange here. maybe it´s kind of a basic mistace, since im pretty new to php

ok, i have a frameset with headline, navigation-bar and content-frame. this frameset is declared syntactically correct.

from the navigationbar i want to call some links. the content of the called links should go to the content-frame (it´s name is content 🙂

nothing special so far. BUT: hitting the link ALWAYS opens a new window, even with base target="content" or a href="blabla.php" target="content"

PLUS:

if i fetch the source of the navigation frames and the frameset and rename navigation.php to .html, it works.

so maybe the problem is generated in the php-module?

PLEASE people, maybe this is basic, but i need to know how to fix that..

What browser? What Operating System? Include the frameset to and I´ll see what I can do.
