Is there a built-in function to verify the validity of credit card numbers? I've heard of a mod 10 standard but I'm clueless on how to verify the numbers with PHP.
Any clues?

There are plenty of javascript and php scripts around. Be aware that they are not all up to date or international and may reject a valid card.
