I need to do a select operation into a flat file.
What I need is the fields entered in a fixed length. Like say name is varchar 10 characters and address is 10 chars I need it to print like this:
john______1994 Oaklane
the underscores(_) represent blank spaces because this forum doesn't allow me to space it all the way out.
I've searched around the net but can't seem to find anything on this kind of padding of the fields. Any help?
