PHP/MySQL - LIMIT coding...

Hey all,

I've created this petition database and i've got it working:

... But now i want to limit the number of entries per page to 5 (Just for testing purposes, i want it to be 500 entries on each page for the final version).

But i also want to have the pages linked at the bottom of each page. 0-5, 5-10, 10-15, etc. Like at the bottom of each page at petitiononline.com:

http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?roswell4&1

Can anyone tell me how i can do this in PHP and MySQL?

I had a search and found the article.

But the trouble is, when i used it, i get this:

I limited the number of entries to 2 and it still shows all 3 entries that i made.

Also, how can i make the links at the bottom of the page say "0-2, 3-4, 5-6, etc"?

The syntax you're going to want to be using is:

select [columns] from [table] limit [offset], [#ofRows]

If that's what you're doing already, try posting your query here. It will be much easier to debug, and you'll get an accurate answer much quicker.
