Occurence of a string

hello,

i'm writing a mailing list script, and the mails sent by the admin are stored in tbl_mails. Now in the html-code of the mail, i would like to find the following

<body blahblah bgcolor=[This is what I need] blahblah

so i can put it in a variable and use it elsewhere. Does anybody has an idea?
