Extract to file

Hi can anyone help,

what i'm trying to do is a query on a mysql table i have stored and then i want to extract the information to a text file.

does anyone know how to do this or if it's possible.

Try:
SELECT ... INTO OUTFILE 'file_name'

Look in MySQL manual.
