simple sending of html

yo,

does anyone know a SIMPLE way to send a html email, i say 'SIMPLE' cause when i searched the forum i got all the complicated ways of doin it and that's not what i need the script i'm makin goes a little like this

//mail header stuff

if ($html)
{
/ HTML MAIL PART /
}
else {
/ text mail (i know that) /
}

anyone got any ideas?

try this:

$Mail_header = "Content-type: text/html\n";
$Mail_header .="From:$senders_name<$email>\n";
$body=("<body>Hello<p><img src='http://www.phpbuilder.com/images/new-logo.gif' border='10'/></p>Goodbye</body>");
mail("$email","html email",$body,$Mail_header);

you can refernce images as absolute references to a web server but not attach them to the actual email. Someone who tries to read your email when they aren't connected will have to connect before they can see the images.
