Help with displaying query results

I have a table with page views from a website. I want to display the results of a query against this table in the following manner:

Page name todays count yesterday etc etc
page 1 200 150 150
page 2 5 6 7
page 3 0 5 0

Not all pages have page views every day.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

given that your "table" is a database table, here are the steps in order to achieve formatted output:

1. db connect
2. execute query
3. print html table header and labels
   (<table ...><tr><th>Page name</th>...</tr>)
4. read in records in a loop
5. inside the loop, for each record, print a table row:
   <tr><td>$result[0]</td><td>$result[1]</td>...</tr>
6. print table closing tag: </table>
7. db close

I've got most of that down. It's matching the page names from different dates and displaying their respective counts of views that is throwing me off. Trying not to hard code anything so I can use this as a function.
