How to fetch content after clicking link

Using PHP, how can I fetch content from some news website and the after clicking on the headline also, the news report should be fecthed with in my template. Please let do reply me if anyone knows how to do this as I need very badly for my PHP course.

Look at fopen() in the PHP docs. It supports remote files.

Thanks Diego! I am able to fetch the contents from other websites, but I wanted to know how can I fetch the content after clicking on the link in the fetched content.

For ie., I have fetched news headlines from cnn.com and after clicking on the headline link, the news report should be fetched in my assigned template. Please do reply me for this at your earliest and thanks a lot!

First, let me just say that what you're doing might be violating some copyrights...

For the headline links, just reroute them to your script that will fetch the news report...

So your link would look something like:

<a href="view.php?http://www.cnn.com/file/news.html">

And view.php will fetch the news report.
