Cookies and PHP 4.1.2

Hi,

My Hosting company have just updated their version of PHP to 4.1.2 after the security problem was annouced.My problem is that I can't get cookies to work any more? Have they been disabled in this version? is there any way I can get them to work again?

I am just having a problem with killing the cookie using:
<? setcookie("cookiename"); ?>

setcookie("cookiename", "");

Thanks for the advice - I tried it, but it didn't help.

With version 4.1.2 are cookies disabled by default or not? or is there a new command used to kill a cookie?
