Unusual Form Variable Problem

I've been looking and looking for the answero to this question, and it's funny, but it seems all similar questions are having the opposite problem that I am having.

I'm new to PHP - I have a very basic grasp on it, so bear with me, please.

I'm working on a form, curently, where people can order from a menu. The menu is listed on a straight-up HTML page, and the customer can check and input text for his order. When he clicks "Submit", a new window will pop up with his order, which he can print out and fax to a restaurant.

My problem is not that things are missing or not showing up (as it seems most people have) - my problem is that everything is showing up. All I want to appear are the items that the customer ordered - all else shouldn't be there. However, the entire menu is appearing, with the amounts changed on the things the customer orders.

It's working fine otherwise - but I just want something simple that will keep everything from showing up. Anyone have any ideas? (It's probably something easy, too LOL)

Without seeing your code, there's nothing I can do for sure... but if you're looping through an array of all the form fields, remember that most of the time, the variables get created regardless of whether there's any data in them, so you may want to do a simple:

if(!empty($var)) { // print your jazz here }

Before you print... if you paste some code it would be easier for people to help you.
