Combining PostScript files

Anyone know of a script to combine PostScript files? I've found lots to do editing, generating and such, but not to combine. If my docs have the same font settings and display characteristics I don't think it would be too terribly difficult to combine pages, but I don't want to reinvent the wheel.

I've also considered doing similar with PDF files, but the $1k liscence fee for libpdf with the insert portion of the library is a bit much for some utilities.

Get a hold of PSUtils;

If I'm not all wrong, there is a 'psmerge' program in there.

Unfortunately I had some trouble installing that on my system. I haven't really mucked with the makefile to see what went wrong yet. But I did find an alternate solution that I like better. I can use GhostScript and I built a script that's integrated with my cart to generate the batch files required for ghostscript. This way I keep the load off of my server, and I save a TON of webserver disk space by keeping the processing local.
