I have the following in my *.php:

print ("</a><a href='newlayoutbig.php?listnumber=$D'>details</a>");

when I click on the "details" link everything works. How would I create a button in my *.php to do the same thing?

err you could make an image of a button and do it that way, otherwise you are going to journey to the wonderful and exciting land of javascript. =) (or you are going to have the worlds shortest form, which I will now display for you )
