I've been wracking my brain over this. I'm trying to upload an image file from a PC to a BSD box. I've got magic_quotes turned on because it seems to be installed usually with ISPs. Anyways...
my copy script
copy($upload_file_logo_lg, $dir.$lg_jpg);
blows up because $upload_file_logo_lg (the HTTP_POST_VAR for the image i'm uploading) chokes on the file path which now has \s in it. i've tried preg_replace("/\\/", "\", $upload_file_logo_lg) to no avail.
the upload_file_logo_lg comes out looking like c:\Documents and ...\directory\directory\blah.jpg
thanks in advance. this was working earlier when i was working off of the same box, but now that i have pushed it to the staging server, it's freaking. i have been hitting this for several hours so i'm not asking you to code for me. :-)
