INSERT INTO problem

Hi I have a very simple problem!

Ive made a form that sends the variables $form_email and $form_password

the problem is that when Im trying to put these variables into the SQL text, it doesnt work...

I tried:

$sql = mysql_query("INSERT INTO users (email, password) VALUES ($form_email, $form_password)");

it doesnt work at all 🙂 the email and password in the database is of the type text...

you must write it like that:
$sql = "INSERT INTO resttickets (v_name,n_name,e_mail,strasse,plz,ort,teil_alter) VALUES ('$v_name','$n_name','$e_mail','$strasse','$plz','$ort','$teil_alter')";

with no spaces inside the clamps!

and the type must be "char"

What Benjamin means is:

$sql = mysql_query("INSERT INTO users (email, password) VALUES ($form_email, $form_password)")

should be

$sql = mysql_query("INSERT INTO users (email, password) VALUES ('$form_email', '$form_password')");
