Can I do this?

I am trying to insert urls similar to this one into a database table:

http://www.helpme.com?sid=1107

It inserts just fine but, when I select it from the database and attempt to use it on a links page, it's returned as:

http://www.helpme.com/?sid=1107
(/ in front of ?)

I have tried stripslashes, ereg_replace, and str_replace on this value and it still shows up in the address field on my browser with the / in front of the ?.

Can anyone help me with this one.

try running the strip_slashes before you put it into the database table. And I'd recommend NOT using magic_quotes.

I'd actually recommend running ADDslashes before putting into the database, and then running strip slashes when it comes back out. =)
