folders from database

Hydy,

I'm making a backsite for a website. I want the webmaster(s) to have the possibility to store the html files they make in a DHTML Editor in folders.
My problem is how to (lineairly) display the foldernames from a database and indent them properly. And have the possibility to have infinite subfolders.

I made a database with the following fields: ID, Foldername, LinkID

So you could have these records:
ID -NAME -LINKID
1 -games -0
2 -guests -0
3 -platform -1
4 -3d -1
5 -john -2
6 -michael -2
7 -files -5
8 -pictures -5
9 -family -8
10 -work -8

They should be displayed like this:

games
- platform
- 3d
guests
- john
-- files
-- pictures
---family
---work
- michael

can somebody help me?

Why use a database for this?
Why not use the filesystem functions to let each user view his/her directory path?
I put a short script on another thread a few doors down that will read the contents of a directory to an array consisting of directory and file elements,
that should give you a good start.
