Fax through net

is it possible in php to send a fax . just by placing a script on server. if so then plz tell me how consider me as newbie

No you cannoy do this with php but you certainly can with perl.

In my office ive got something that sends faxes using my modem 'which is a fax modem'. It can only send plain text but thats enough for me. Whether you can pull it off in windows is another thing, as we use unix.
