windows file permissions?

Hi, I'm testing scripts on my computer and am not sure how to set the permissions in my php.ini file to allow me to have access to manipulate files. e.g. I wrote a script to rename some files, but my permissions won't allow it.

Warning: Rename failed (Permission denied) in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache\htdocs\rename.php on line 29

Any info on this topic is much appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

It depends what platform your on. if its win9x then right-click on the file and uncheck read/system. If you on nt/2k right-click->permissions/security->check write.
